This week is full to the brim….well it’s actually overflowing to the floor and down the hallway. I am just trying to keep it all organized. I am planning a wedding with our oldest daughter, flying to Orlando for a few days, getting ready for the Texas Summit (you MUST come!!!) this weekend and that’s not even the most exciting part!
My book comes out this week and I am beyond the moon excited about it. In fact, I think Amazon is already shipping them so you can order yours now. Woohoo! You can also pick it up at most major booksellers and Christian bookstores.
With the political turmoil surrounding us right now, I think a sweet, uplifting book is just what we need. There is not a single presidential mention in the entire thing. But with all of this mess we sure do need to find out how to get balance and not go over the deep end with the crazy drama. Amen?
All month long I’ve been doing radio interviews and speaking to women’s groups to share the message of the book….that finding balance is about knowing what to grab onto when you start to fall. Or if you’re already down, how to get yourself back up again and move forward. I want to shine the light of HOPE into your life!
I do think it’s hilarious that I am teaching about finding balance during this crazy busy week. Nothing entertains me more than God’s sense of humor. While I feel inadequate some days to talk about finding balance….He gave me the message, He schedules my days, He equips me. So off we go…..no doubt I will fall a few times during the week and reach for His hand of love and mercy to pick me back up again. It’s all part of this amazing journey!
“Tightropes and Teeter-Totters: Finding Balance in the Ups and Downs of Life,” is filled with funny stories and inspiration for living a full life. If you’re struggling with a mess in some area (or several areas) of your life then you have opportunities for growth and wisdom! I write about balance not because I never fall but because I fall constantly and I’ve learned how to get back up. Experience is my teacher and joy is my friend.
If you’re feeling stuck or hopeless about any area of your life….pick up this book and be encouraged! It’s a great gift for a friend who needs a boost too!!!
