Shine Your Light

I’m sad to report that I don’t have any little girls anymore.  {excuse me while I go have a good, hard cry!}

Thankfully my sister has 2 baby girls, so I can take my occasional need for pink and purple glitter out on them.  And this little book fits the bill.  I got it, carried it around under my arm for a few days twirling, and now I will send it on to my nieces for their girly enjoyment.

Sweet little devotional for girls

  1. Oh, my goodness! I loved those plastic heels and so does my gal. She clicks and clacks all around in them! Would love to win a copy of the devotional for her 😉

  2. This looks so precious! I need to run out and get my little girl a copy of this!! <3

  3. I didn’t wear those heels when I was a kid but my 4 yr old has some! She’s sometimes a girly-girl and sometimes a tomboy but would love this book. 🙂

  4. Yes! I can remember tromping/slipping around in those little plastic heels. And our 3 year old currently adores hers. (We were all waiting for her to get her shoes on for a family bike ride and out the door she comes … in her purple and pink plastic heels! She couldn’t understand why the rest of us weren’t on board with her shoe choice. LOL.) My very favorite as a child, though, was getting to play dress up in my Grandma’s scarves and real heels!

  5. Would be perfect for my two sweet grand angels. I’m keeping them this summer and they would love it for “Grammie reading time” every day.

  6. The timing is perfect! My sweet 6 year old has been asking forna devotional of her own! What more could a mamma ask for?

  7. I had a few pairs of those little heals. My three little girls love them now. The love Sheila’s Gigi books, so I’m sure they’d love this devotional.

  8. Those plastic heels…..how I remember struggling to wear them. Happy my two girls never really cared for them! Big fans of Shelia’s books, though.

  9. I don’t think I ever knew that pink plastic heels for little girls even existed when I was little. Could be because we only got two TV channels back then. I’m sure my little girl would love the devotional! Thank you for the opportunity to win it!

  10. No, I didn’t wear them. My grandmother, who was my “mother” growing up, wouldn’t even let me wear those cool “jellies” that were so popular when I was a kid. I survived though and have lived to tell about. I also have feet that aren’t deformed or anything, so I guess I have her to thank – LOL!

  11. I don’t remember wearing plastic heels much as a little girl…but my 5 year old has been asking for months for some!
