How to Use a Curling Wand

When I was thinking about writing this post I just couldn’t figure out a way to make it sound interesting.  I mean, seeing how someone curls their hair?  Really?!  What’s next?  Watching them eat?

Then I showed a picture of my Curling Wand on Instagram and I got a bunch of emails asking how to use it.  It’s so easy to use that I feel silly showing you, but then I want you to have beautiful hair so I decided to put my hesitation aside and make a video.

I get so many comments on this hairstyle; here are a couple of pictures from the recent past.

It really starts with a good cut.  I can wear it straight or curly or somewhere in between.  But because my hair is pretty frizzy and doesn’t have good curls on its own, I have to coax it into place.  This Curling Wand is my favorite way because it’s so, so quick!

And the curls stay all day…..at least for me.  If I try to go a second day I just run my fingers through it and use the wand in a couple of places.  Here’s the link to the recipe for the hair spritzer I mentioned in the video.
