I am enjoying hearing from so many of you that you are working on your own fitness goals. I want to share one of my new favorite things that has helped me in my efforts to lose weight and get healthy.
Do each of your kids have their own Bible? Most of mine do and my 10 year old, Elijah, had been asking if he could get his own so he didn’t have to borrow one whenever he needed to look things up.
As each quiet summer weekend passes behind me I feel myself getting more and more relaxed into just being home and hanging with my peeps. It’s so delightful.
It’s another hot summer week here in south Texas. We are trying to stay cool, but the temps have us sweating like pigs. (I have never understood that analogy….do pigs sweat profusely?)

On Friday we finished the bathroom makeover and what a relief to have the bathroom open for business again! Being on bathroom short for a week was cramping my style.

We’ve been in our paint clothes most of the week, so not much fashion is happening here. Our paint clothes aren’t worth showing here except to say that we are still modest when we paint.
One of the big changes I wanted to make is the storage problem. I got some cheap boards at the hardware store to build shelves that would fit the space perfectly. You get a lot more storage when your shelf actually fills the space.
