Valentine’s Day Plates and a Giveaway!

In case you didn’t know it….I love decorating for Valentine’s Day!  Of course I had to fill the frame over my couch with some love themed decor.

I found these striped plates at Target and decided to dress them up and hang them.  What’s Valentine’s Day without some X’s & O’s?

On the gray platter I just taped an envelope with a heart on it.  Thanks Cricut for helping me show some love.

I like the striped plates so much that I decided to make some for YOU!  It’s my way of saying how much you all mean to me.  XOXO

I’m going to give away a set of the striped plates with the XO’s on them.  OR I will personalize them for you with a name or word.  How’s that for true love?

You can hang them or put them in a stand or give them as a gift or make a hat out of them if you want!  They’ll be yours to do with as you please!

Just enter to win….easy peasy!  This giveaway will end in a couple of days….I’m so excited!

  1. The most I’ve done to decorate for valentines is a candle or bowl on the table – your enthusiasm is catching… 🙂

  2. My kiddos do all the decorating for me – the glue, glitter, construction paper, etc make for a very big, but joyful, mess. 🙂

  3. We didn’t do a lot of decorating this year, just a few of the kids crafts from previous years combined with a craft from this year.

  4. I wish my brain worked like yours!! Your very talented! Love the plates, such a cheap and creative idea!

  5. I try! I linked up my decor this year, too! The plates would fit perfectly with everything else. Thanks for a lovely giveaway!

  6. I haven’t ever decorated for Valentine’s Day. I have never wanted to spend the money on decorations and I’m not crafty enough to make my own.

  7. I hadn’t decorated for Valentine’s Day in years, but my daughter decided to decorate for a ladies craft night we hosted over the weekend (I’ll post about that soon). She made lovely little doily bunting to hang in different spots, then she placed pretty jars and bottles filled with fresh red flowers and baby’s breath in different spots. She even brought out her mirrored tray and antique perfume bottles for a centerpiece! I think the ladies really felt special because of her efforts — and now my house is all Valentined up!

  8. I usually don’t decorate for Valentine’s Day, but I’m going to surprise my daughters this year! I’ve already bought a few inexpensive items to use and we’re going to make some decorations of our own as well.

  9. I love decorations for Valentine’s Day, but think Feb. 14th comes too quickly! By the time I think about decorating it is usually Feb. 10th already 🙂 Could we put Valentine’s at the end of the month to give me time to put up decorations please?!?

  10. I start dreaming up Valentine’s Day decorations as I take down my Christmas decor. This year I had hearts up the day after New Years….my husband thought I was crazy! 🙂

  11. <3 I love the way your decor turned out. What a great idea! Thanks for the opportunity. Blessings. 🙂

  12. I am in the process of moving, but I made sure that I packed my Valentines Day wreath on my front seat. That way I was able to hang it as soon as I got to my new house! Valentines holds a very special place for me, it is my wedding anniversary.

  13. I never realized how difficult it was to find VD decorations. There is plenty of Spring & St. Patricks day in the stores but not Valentine related decorations. Hope I win the plates, they’ll look great on my mantel or dining room shelf.

  14. Lisa,Your display is lovely as are your other decorations. Those plates are so cute.
    Blessings,Muffy S.

  15. I just love coming over here and checking out to see how your decorating. You are inspiring!

  16. I don’t currently decorate for Valentine’s day. However, this is because only in the past year did I start changing up my decor (except for Christmas, of course!). Two thanksgivings ago I decorated my mantel with a thanksgiving theme. Then Christmas, and winter. I put my regular mantel displays back up then swapped again for summer, and have been going with some seasonal themes since. But not specific other holidays yet. I did put out a special “love one another” print though, and would love these plates to go with them!! Thanks!

  17. I don’t usually decorate foe Valentine’s Day, but this year the kids made “stained glass” paper hearts and I did hang them in the window.

  18. The plates are so cute!! I’ve only recently started decorating for Valentines, mostly due to my sweet little L.G., who just loves pretties!!!!!

  19. My house looks like it is decorated for Valentine’s Day all year round. I love hearts, and love, and mushy stuff. 🙂
