One of the interesting things about discussing modest clothing is how each person has their own idea of what that means. For one person it means being covered, but wearing pants while another only wears dresses. We are each on our own path and we must give each other room.

With 4 daughters, I have had many treasured discussions about how our bodies change in our teen years, how they blossom into young womanhood. I wanted my girls to feel prepared for the new experiences, the emotions, the lifestyle shift.

It was one of those weekends that seemed longer than 2 days. We got lots done and had plenty of down time too. Looking back, I’m not sure how we did it.
Knowing what looks good on you is important no matter what your size. But when you’re a bigger gal and you only wear longer dresses, you don’t show your cleavage or your upper arms or your curves….finding things to look good can be monumental!
Last week I shared on Facebook about my boys having trouble doing their chores. Two of my guys just weren’t doing them they way I had told them to, so after a couple of weeks of not getting on top of it I decided to take steps to make some changes.
