A Wonderful Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!  I hope you all have a wonderful day today.  We will be sharing the afternoon with friends.  I’m going to make our favorite pretzel dogs and our friend is bringing his famous homemade salsa which, even if I didn’t like him I would invite him just for this stuff.  It is to.die.for.

If I can convince him to let me I will share the recipe with you.  I have tried making it, but it never turns out like his.  Of course, I’m not the best example since I tend to mess up cereal.

I’m sure the kids will do a little swimming while the adults lounge.

Then as the sun goes down’ we’ll eat some more and sit out on the front porch enjoying each other’s company.

May you have a blessed Memorial Day!

TY for all you share on your blog, I feel like sometimes I just dont measure up but your blog reminds me that we are all different. Its okay if we are a family who sleeps in everyday or we change things all the time lol

  2. OH Lisa,
Everything looks so lovely!! Is it really Tuesday? Wow, is all I can say!! You had quite the productive weekend. 🙂

Did you make your flags? If so would you be willing to share how it was done? Have a wonderful week! I think you should be having a cooling trend…. I know it just got here after a week of record breaking temperatures… it was really crazy as Mama & Papa Roland were up for Ian’s graduation and it was hotter here than it was in Louisiana which is where they are from.
Later, once again have a wonderful day!

  3. LOVE YOUR FRAMED FLAGS!! I have an Oregon flag that flew over the capital building that I would love to frame like that. Could you tell us your secret please? Or better yet, come to COOL Oregon and show me how. You’ll want to go home to defrost!!

    Judy
