This weekend we will be spending some quality time together. The whole family. We will be, you guessed it, working in the YARD. (cue dreadful music)
And so, in honor of the terrible state of our so-called backyard, I am going to show you some of my favorite pins that have inspired me to bring our outdoor spaces to life!
Last summer we built a part of the deck around our above ground pool and built some furniture for it. But we never finished the rest of the deck. This picture from Above Ground Pool Company inspires me to finish that project.
Oh, this little window from Style Me Pretty has me swooning. I’ve got to find a place to hang this or I will never find satisfaction.
And this garden….do NOT get me started. I wish God had given me the gift of growing flowers, but my gifts are more in the area of….killing plants faster than any other human being on earth. But the people at Libby’s Cottage Garden sure know how to do it.
Our old shed/pump house is too horrible to show you a picture of, but it really should look like this from BH&G.
And even though, I am sorry to say, I can’t find the source of this last Pin…I had to show it to you because it will be my little encourager while we work to get this mess to look better.
