Pinterest Friday Numero Diecinueve

Today is my birthday….so I’m creating my perfect birthday Pinterest style!

I’d start the day with these from Ordinary Miracles.  Is it bacon and eggs?  Or is it candy?

And oh this beautiful drink from E is for Explore.

Or maybe this one from What Katie Ate….I’m a sucker for cranberry and ginger ale.

And if I had friends over, I might set the table with these little darlings from Bump Smitten (tons of baby showers ideas here too!).  Old cans wrapped in paper and filled with wild flowers.  I’m a wildflower kind of girl.

and when they got here I’d have this basket waiting….(from Brene Brown, a friend from high school. small world.)

We’d eat a chicken club brunch ring from A Taste of Home (no tomatoes though….I hate tomatoes)

and a little dessert…something playful like this s’mores bar by Black andWhite

and something pretty like this cake from sweetapolita

Then I’d end the day with a peaceful moment to myself the way Green Like Bathwater does it

and end it all with a cherry little song….

If you need an invite to Pinterest let me know.  I’d be thrilled to send you one!

Have a great weekend.

  1. Happy, happy, happy BIRThDAY! February is a good month for birthdays, isn’t it!?! Our eldest was last Friday, mine was Wednesday, and yours is today! I hope and pray that you have a wonderful day spent with your family! You are such a dear, sweet lady and such a blessing to me! I am so glad the Lord brought you into my life (even if all our correspondence is via our blogs, ha ha!) Once again happy birthday!

  2. Happy Bday. Hope it’s a great one. That was such a great post, except now I’m craving cake AND smores… OH yeah and a quiet moment to myself. Hee hee… Hope you have a wonderful day!!!

  3. chicken club brunch ring looks awesome…you need to teach your girls to make that for your birthday next yr….or Mother’s day, that’s sooner 🙂

  4. Oh, it’s my birthday, too. Can I sit under your tree and read a book while you swing? Ahhh… I feel better already. Thanks!

  5. If you were here in Manteo on your birthday, I would definitely do a little spoilin’! But. Since you’re in TX, I will just send you (sightly belated) spoilin’ wishes wrapped up in blessings for a marvelous next year of life.

  6. dear Birthday girl,
If you were here (or I was there) I would sing Happy Birthday to you! It is one of my favorite songs. But since that isn’t possible, instead I will pass this valuable little piece of info on to you today: “AGING: it seems to be the only available way to live a longer life”. (my Mary E. calendar gives credit to D.F.E. AUBER)
    Happy Happy Birthday to you!
