Midwestern {Sewing} Girl

Good Monday morning to you!  I am excited to be visiting Maggie today over at Midwestern {Sewing} Girl.  She was competing with me in the One Month To Win It contest a couple of months ago and we got to be fast friends.  It’s kind of like if we were against each other in a Miss America competition.  We could have hated each other and replaced each other’s hair spray with an explosive device, but instead we liked each other so we share beauty tips and go to the bathroom together.

OK, that sounded weird.  Maggie and I have never actually been to the bathroom together.  We’ve never even met in person, which I am sure she is happy about right now.

Anyway, I hope you’ll go over to her blog and show her some love (and let her know I’m not a freak).

Over at Maggie’s I’m showing you how to make these adorable candle holders.

And y’all know how good I am at writing tutorials.  Once you’ve read my directions you will wish you just had some simple instructions written in Japanese.

Have a great Monday!

What a great project. I am wanting to make more homemade Christmas gifts this year! I think I may have found the gift for the married couples in the family!

  5. Love ’em…but I wouldn’t know how to use that saw or orbital sander to save my life! I love how they look all grouped on your mantel – very pretty.
