11 Reasons We Don’t Go Out
We very rarely go places all together. Unless someone has died or someone very daring has invited us to their house, we just stay home. With 11 people in the family, it is much more enjoyable to hang out at our place.

James and I strongly believe in preserving our children’s purity and protecting their childhood. As parents it is our job to guard their hearts. This means that our kids don’t watch TV, read books we haven’t read first, play violent or sensual video games.
Yesterday, we celebrated Fathers’ Day. The calendar said that Fathers’ Day was supposed to be the previous Sunday, but Daddy was bogged down by his law school studies that weekend.
I am so excited to be participating in a creativity contest this month! It’s called One Month To Win It.
Four weeks, twelve contestants, three get eliminated each week until there is one left.
Hoo boy it was a rough weekend.
We always clean the house and work in the yard on Saturday mornings. It had been a couple of weeks since we’d been able to do a really thorough job. Everyone pulled together.
Is it Friday already? The summer is speeding by. Maybe that’s why it is so hot….the world is moving too fast.
Another question: If I am so busy, why does it seem like I am not getting much done?
My kids and I decided to make a quick trip to visit my parents this weekend. It was a last minute decision….as in, “Kids! Let’s pack and leave in 10 minutes!”
Remember the old joke….Knock knock. Who’s there? Banana. Banana who? Knock knock. Who’s there? Banana. Banana who? So on and so on until-Knock knock. Who’s there? Orange. Orange who? Orange you glad I didn’t say banana?
Before we leave the anniversary topic altogether, I want to tell you how amazing the party actually was. But I haven’t told you how amazing the party actually was.
Twenty-five years ago today James and I took the leap into wedded bliss. We had no idea what we were getting into.
