Lisa’s Favorite Things Giveaway!

There are so many little things that I use and love that I decided to share them with you.  I know how much I like to get tips from my friends on a great product, so I thought I’d let you in on some of my favorites:

1.  Redken 18 Quick Dry Instant Finishing Spray.  I discovered this hairspray about 6 months ago and I love it.  It goes on dry and doesn’t make your hair stiff.  But it has great hold.  I like to tease my hair a little to give it some lift and this product works great for that.  I carry it in my purse and give a quick mist when I am out of the house.  I love this little purse sized bottle.

2.  Better Than Bullion.  This stuff will change your world.  You will never be able to use canned chicken broth or bullion cubes again.  Seriously, it will make your soups taste like a chef prepared them.  When we are sick I can just put a bit in a cup of hot water and it tastes like a fresh broth.  They have a lot of different flavors and every one of them is amazing.  Your life will be changed.

3.  Big rings.  I am cuh-razy about big rings.  One of my favorites is a ring that we made from a bit of the wire that comes off of our hay bales here on the farm.  I get so many compliments when I wear it that I’ve decided to list it in our shop and I’m going to give one to you.  It will make you smile.

4.  Monogramming.  Speaking of our shop, you all know I am wild about monograms.  I would monogram my children if they would sit still long enough.  I am so in love with my His & Hers hand towel that I think you need one too!

5.  Uniball 207 Gel Pens.  I kid you not, this is the best pen I have ever used.  It writes so smoothly and easily.  They tend to disappear around here because we all love writing with this pen.  So I hoard them.  I am putting two of them in my giveaway because you’ll need one to use and one to hide from your family, the pen stealers.

6.  Fels Naptha Bar.  This is an old-fashioned stain remover.   I have never found a stain yet that the Fel Naptha Bar can’t handle.   Just wet the bar and rub it on a stain.  A little scrub and the stain is gone.  Of course, it works best when the stain is fresh.  It may take several tries on an old stain. I keep one under the kitchen sink and one in my bathroom.

7. OPI Nail Polish.  I like to have a clear polish on my fingernails and this stuff will NOT come off.  No matter how many dishes I do or goats I tend to, my nails always look nice and shiny.  A girl’s gotta know what’s important.

8.  Young Living Essential Oils.  In the last few years I have fallen in love with essential oils.  I use them for any and all ailments from colds to bursitis.  My favorite oil is peppermint which I use mostly for headaches and stomach aches.  Sometimes I rub a drop behind my ears and sometimes I mix it with a carrier like coconut oil and massage it in.  I even like a drop in my water for a bit of mint flavor.  This little purse sized bottle is a great starter.
