Whew!

The last of the guests have headed home, the decorations are all put away, the boy is graduated.

It was a blessing to have so many people come out for our graduation/movie screening.

My two men:

Jacob speaking.  He told about what a blessing it was to have been homeschooled.  Then he gave me flowers.  SNIFF:::SNIFF.  Anyone have a hankie?

We had snacks for after the movies.

I love this next picture.  Thanks to my sweet friend for taking it….

We had a display table of some of Jacob’s childhood things.

I remember when he used to juggle…..

Wwwwaaaahhhhh!!!!!

Ok, I’m alright now.  I’ll try to look to the future.

Thanks to everyone that came.  It was a joy to have you there.

If you didn’t make it, then hopefully you can catch their movies at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival in October.

  1. We were so blessed to be there! Michael said he couldn’t believe you didn’t cry…he just knows I’d have barely been able to talk. I have no control.

You are such a great example to all homeschool moms, Lisa. Thank you <3

  2. It really was a special night. Jacob was so impressive! His movie is light years ahead of his last one. Quite the nod to his education and his work ethic. You and James were inspiring. Thank you for inviting us all and for choosing to be an model. Most of all, I appreciate your example of steadfastness in homeschooling and discipling.

  3. The whole thing made me tear up…and I haven’t even had the pleasure of meeting your sweet son! Maybe I’m picturing my own in a few short years. Oh goodness…where’s the tissue? Sounds like a lovely evening.
