Reflections of Easter

Isn’t Easter amazing?!  I mean really….do we take enough time to reflect on what Christ did for us?  I know I don’t!

Our family did something we’ve never done before on Easter.  We went to a Baptist church.  🙂

Just in case you don’t know, we aren’t Baptist.  We have a homechurch that meets in our home each week.  It’s not about denominations or committees or building funds.  It’s about relationships and growing in the Lord and accountability.

But for Easter I was asked to sing (gulp!) the solo with the choir at the local First Baptist Church.

That’s me on the far left.

It was a wonderful day.  The weather was lovely, my parents were visiting, the Holy Spirit was so present during the music.

I just wanted to shout it out today….

God is AWESOME and AMAZING!

  1. I heard it was beautiful. I became a generic Christian (no label) after church hopping for many years. (long story, fill ya in one day). But I do love this FBC here in Kerrville, they are an old fashioned bible church , they have been so wonderful to my son, DIL, and granddaughters. They have been a huge answer to prayer for me as well. Sometimes it’s good to hop around a bit and get some fellowship. Wish I could have been there to hear you sing, I’m so glad you enjoyed it too <3

  2. Lisa rocked the house!
If you’ve never heard her sing, and I mean SING a really cool song…you MUST.

  3. LOVED hearing you sing, loved the song, and getting to see you and your sweet family.

    Hugs,
    🙂 Heather
