How Is It Possible?
That the tiny baby I gave birth to in my youth is turning 20 today?
I knew she was special, lovely, talented…..
But she has become so much more than this mother’s heart could have ever dreamed.
Those brown curly locks that we used to struggle through every morning are now her signature. Her hair so long and springy in her Jane Austin style.
That determination to teach herself to ride a bike when she was 8 years old is now the strength that she calls upon when the Lord requires her to follows His ways no matter what the cost.
Struggling to share a room with her messy sister when she was 10 gave her the wisdom she would need to patiently wait upon the Lord for her mate.
If you have never met my oldest daughter, now 20, then you don’t know. She is amazing. She inspires me every day to pray, to become more like Christ, to overcome my own sin.
I am amazed that 20 years has flown by so quickly. I am humbled that He gave me the honor of mothering this beautiful young woman.
